ELO SharePoint
Two systems, one world. By combining the flexible Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 portal with ELO, ELO SharePoint enables you to leverage optimally the advantages of a powerful ECM system and Microsoft's robust teamwork functions.
For example, the portal enables you to link project plans and schedules; but with ELO added to the mix, you also have at your disposal interfaces to third party applications such as ERP, CAD or e-mail systems. ELO integrates interfaces for virtually all of today's leading business applications such as SAP, Sage and Microsoft Dynamics, and also allows for (among other things) read-only archiving of ERP data.
All of ELO's archiving functionalities are fully integrated into the solution (and of course comply with all statutes and regulations). Documents that are subject to statutory archiving requirements can be stored directly in ELO without saving the data in MOSS. Thus all documents of all kinds are stored in a single database, since ELO completely replaces the MOSS repository, thus allowing for a lean and high performance MOSS system. Data can also be stored temporarily in the MOSS database, in which case ELO integrates the documents in a rule based fashion. And what's more, the user can define which documents are important for the company and thus can determine which ones need to be archived. The integrated ELO workflow server allows for the visualization of complex business processes, whereby the solution's high performance workflow functions can be readily modulated via a graphic interface design. In addition, business processes can be intermeshed with the MOSS system via graphic workflow monitoring in the production environment.
Another advantage of ELO is that it allows for the integration and replication of multiple locations; at the same time, ELO Mobil synchronizes all key central data in each user's laptop. Intelligent replication mechanisms ensure that all document created or edited on mobile devices are available right away to all team members via the MOSS portal. Hence the interplay between ELO and the MOSS portal makes it easy to combine centralized working modalities with the flexibility of mobile approaches to work processes.
